Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from the main visitor center in Chaco Culture National Historical Park, head south on the main park road (Chaco Road) for approximately 4.5 miles. You will pass several significant archaeological sites along the way. After 4.5 miles, you will come to the junction with Highway 550. Turn right onto Highway 550 and continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the small community of Nageezi. Follow the signs for Hungo Pavi, which is located about 2 miles east of Nageezi. The site will be clearly marked, and there is a parking area available.

    Public transportation options to Chaco Culture National Historical Park are limited. However, if you are able to reach the park via a bus service from nearby towns, you can hire a local taxi or rideshare service from the nearest bus stop to the visitor center.
