Getting There

• Car

  From the Chaco Culture National Historical Park, start by heading south on the main park road towards the US-550. Continue driving for approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with US-550. Turn left onto US-550 and drive for about 60 miles. When you reach the exit for NM-566, take the exit and turn right onto NM-566. Continue on NM-566 for about 9 miles until you reach the intersection with Outlaw Rd. Turn left onto Outlaw Rd and drive for about 1 mile. Red Rock Park will be on your left at 825 Outlaw Rd, Church Rock, NM 87311.

• Public Transportation

  There are no direct public transportation options from Chaco Culture National Historical Park to Red Rock Park. However, you can take a bus from the nearest town, which is Farmington, NM. First, arrange transportation to Farmington either via a shuttle service or taxi from Chaco. Once in Farmington, take the New Mexico Park and Ride bus service that operates routes to Gallup. From Gallup, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Red Rock Park at 825 Outlaw Rd, Church Rock, NM 87311. Please check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.

• Rideshare

  If you prefer not to drive, consider using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. From within Chaco Culture National Historical Park, you will need to arrange for a rideshare driver to pick you up at the visitor center or another designated area.
