From the main visitor center in Chaco Culture National Historical Park, head southeast on the main road (Chaco Canyon Road) for approximately 5 miles. You will pass the Pueblo Bonito ruins and continue on the same road. After about 5 miles, look for a sign indicating the Valley of Dreams Trailhead. Turn left onto Unnamed Road, which is a dirt road. Continue along this road for about 1 mile until you reach the trailhead parking area.

If you are already near the Pueblo Bonito area, you can walk over to the Valley of Dreams Trailhead. Head southeast on the walking path from Pueblo Bonito for about 1.5 miles. Follow the signs pointing towards the Valley of Dreams, which will guide you to the trailhead.
