If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Eagle Nest, NM. Head northeast on NM-38 N for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto US-64 E and continue for about 5 miles. The Palisades Sill Historic Marker will be located within the Cimarron Canyon State Park on your left, near the Cimarron River. There is no entrance fee for the park, making it easy to stop and appreciate the site.
