Getting There

    From Gila National Forest, head southeast on NM-15 S towards Silver City. Continue on NM-15 S for approximately 25 miles until you reach the intersection with US-180 E. Merge onto US-180 E and drive for about 2 miles. Then, take the exit onto NM-26 E towards Deming. Follow NM-26 E for about 25 miles until you reach the junction with NM-195. Turn left onto NM-195 and follow it for about 8 miles. Elephant Butte Lake State Park will be on your right at 101 NM-195, Elephant Butte, NM 87935. The total drive is approximately 60 miles and will take around 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.
