Start at the Las Cruces downtown area, specifically at the Las Cruces Plaza. Head north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Amador Avenue. Turn left onto Amador Avenue and continue west until you reach the intersection with Valley Drive. Turn right onto Valley Drive and walk north for about 1 mile. Then, turn left onto N Jornada Road. Continue walking for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park located at 56501 N Jornada Rd. The entrance will be on your right.

From the Las Cruces downtown area, take the RoadRUNNER Transit bus Route 1 (Mesilla Valley Mall). Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location. Ride the bus towards the Mesilla Valley Mall and get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Valley Drive and N Jornada Road. Once you disembark, walk north on Valley Drive for about 1 mile, then turn left onto N Jornada Road. Continue walking for approximately 3 miles to reach the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park at 56501 N Jornada Rd. The entrance will be on your right.
