Walking
If you're starting from the Las Cruces Plaza, head south on Main Street until you reach Amador Avenue. Turn left on Amador Avenue and continue walking until it merges into Avenida de Mesilla. Follow Avenida de Mesilla until you reach the intersection with Calle Del Norte. Turn right onto Calle Del Norte, and continue walking. Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park will be on your left at 5000 Calle Del Norte. The park is approximately a 45-minute walk from the Plaza.

For a quicker route, rent a bike from a local shop in Las Cruces. Start at the Las Cruces Plaza and ride south on Main Street. Continue straight as Main Street becomes Avenida de Mesilla. When you reach Calle Del Norte, turn right. The park will be on your left at 5000 Calle Del Norte. The biking route should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.

To take public transit, find the nearest bus stop for RoadRUNNER Transit. Look for the bus route that heads towards Mesilla. Get off at the nearest stop to Calle Del Norte. From there, walk east on Calle Del Norte for about 5-10 minutes, and you will arrive at Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park, located at 5000 Calle Del Norte.
