Bus
From central Los Alamos, walk to the nearest bus stop on Central Avenue. Catch the NM Rail Runner Express which operates between Los Alamos and Santa Fe. Make sure to check the schedule as the frequency may vary. Once you arrive at the Santa Fe Depot, exit the train station and walk south on Cerrillos Road for about 0.5 miles. You will find the Santa Fe Railyard Park located at 740 Cerrillos Rd on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Los Alamos. Start at the parking lot of the Los Alamos Visitor Center and head south on NM-502. Continue on NM-502 until you reach the junction with US-84/US-285. Follow US-84/US-285 south towards Santa Fe. Once you arrive in Santa Fe, take the exit for Cerrillos Road and ride north for approximately 1 mile. The park will be on your right at 740 Cerrillos Rd.

Walking
If you prefer a long walk, start from the Los Alamos Visitor Center. Walk south on Central Avenue until you reach the intersection with NM-502. Cross NM-502 and continue on Central Avenue until it becomes State Road 4. Follow State Road 4 until it merges with US-84/US-285. Continue on US-84/US-285 until you reach Santa Fe. From there, walk north on Cerrillos Road for about 1 mile. The Santa Fe Railyard Park will be on your right at 740 Cerrillos Rd.
