By Car
From any location in North Central New Mexico, head south towards Roswell, NM. If you are coming from Santa Fe, take US-285 S for about 200 miles until you reach Roswell. Once in Roswell, take the exit for E College Blvd (NM-120). Continue on E College Blvd for about 2 miles. The Spring River Zoo will be on your left at 1306 E College Blvd. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, the closest Greyhound bus station is located in Roswell. Once you arrive, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach the zoo. The distance from the bus station to the Spring River Zoo is approximately 2 miles, so a taxi ride may cost around $10. Alternatively, you can check with local transit services for any bus routes that may take you closer to 1306 E College Blvd.
Walking (if in Roswell)
If you find yourself in downtown Roswell, you can walk to the Spring River Zoo. It is about a 30-minute walk (approximately 1.5 miles). Head east on 2nd St toward N Main St, then turn right on N Main St. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto E College Blvd, and continue for another mile. The zoo will be on your right.
