From the center of Ruidoso, head southeast on Sudderth Drive. Continue straight until you reach Mechem Drive. Turn left on Mechem Drive and follow it until you reach the intersection with Cedar Creek Road. Turn right onto Cedar Creek Road. Continue on Cedar Creek Road for about 1 mile. You will see the Cedar Creek Trails on your left. Look for the trailhead sign to access the hiking paths.

If you have a bike, start at the Ruidoso River Trail located near the Ruidoso Village Hall. Follow the trail that runs along the river. When you reach the end of the river trail, exit onto Mechem Drive. Turn right and bike south until you get to Cedar Creek Road. Turn left onto Cedar Creek Road and continue for about 1 mile. The Cedar Creek Trails will be on your left. Ensure your bike is suited for off-road terrain if you plan to explore the trails.
