    From any point in Santa Fe National Forest, you will need to find your way to the nearest major road leading to Santa Fe. If you're in the forest, look for signs directing you to NM-475 or NM-84. Drive south on NM-475, following the signs for Santa Fe. Continue on NM-475 until you reach the junction with US-84. Take US-84 South towards Santa Fe. Stay on US-84 until you reach Old Santa Fe Trail. Turn right onto Old Santa Fe Trail and continue for about 1.5 miles. The National Park Service office is located at 1100 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, NM 87505. Look for the office on your left; parking is available nearby.

    If you're using public transportation, you can take the Santa Fe Trails bus service. Look for Route 2, which connects various points in Santa Fe, including the downtown area. You may need to take a bus to the downtown transit center first. From the transit center, you can catch a bus that heads towards Old Santa Fe Trail. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. Once you arrive at a stop near Old Santa Fe Trail, disembark and walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach the National Park Service office at 1100 Old Santa Fe Trail.
