From downtown Santa Fe, head to the nearest bus stop on Cerrillos Road. Board the NM Rail Runner Express bus that goes towards the Santa Fe Depot. Once at the depot, transfer to the Santa Fe Trails bus route #2 (Cerrillos Road) and get off at the 'Museum Hill' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to 725 Camino Lejo, where the New Mexico Historic Sites is located.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Santa Fe. Head south on Galisteo Street, then take a left onto Camino de la Tierra. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Camino Lejo. Turn right and continue straight until you reach 725 Camino Lejo, where the New Mexico Historic Sites is located. This route is approximately 2.5 miles and should take about 15-20 minutes.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, start at the Santa Fe Plaza. Walk east on San Francisco Street until you reach Old Santa Fe Trail. Turn left and continue until you reach the intersection with Paseo de Peralta. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Camino Lejo. Turn left on Camino Lejo, and walk about half a mile to reach 725 Camino Lejo, where the New Mexico Historic Sites is located. This walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes.
