Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards Saratoga Springs, NY. From the center of Saratoga Springs, take Route 9N (North Broadway) and follow the signs for Saratoga Spa State Park. Once you enter the park, look for Avenue of the Pines. Charlie Spring is located at 108 Avenue of the Pines, directly next to the entrance to SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center). Parking is available within the state park, but be aware there may be a parking fee depending on the time of year.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus to Saratoga Springs. The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) operates buses to this area. Once you arrive at the Saratoga Springs bus station, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service to Saratoga Spa State Park. Inform the driver you want to go to 108 Avenue of the Pines. Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous, it's about a 30-minute walk from the bus station to the park entrance.
Biking
For those who enjoy biking, consider renting a bike in Saratoga Springs. You can follow the designated bike paths leading to Saratoga Spa State Park. Once in the park, navigate to Avenue of the Pines to reach Charlie Spring. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations. Check for any bike rental costs beforehand.
