Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, set your GPS to High Falls Gorge at 4761 NY-86, Wilmington, NY 12997. From Lake Placid, take NY-73 W for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto NY-86, and after about 1.5 miles, you will see High Falls Gorge on your right. Parking is available on-site, but there is an entrance fee of $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $12 for children ages 5-12.

Adirondack Trailways offers bus services from larger towns like Lake Placid or Saranac Lake to Wilmington. Once you arrive in Wilmington, it’s about a 1.5-mile walk to High Falls Gorge.
