Walking
If you are starting from the New York State Capitol located at 198 State St, Albany, NY 12207, exit the Capitol building and head east on State Street towards the intersection with Eagle Street. Turn left onto Eagle Street and continue walking north until you reach the intersection with Madison Avenue. Turn right onto Madison Avenue. Continue walking on Madison Avenue for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes). Beneath the City is located at 222 Madison Ave, which will be on your left. Look for the entrance that has signage for the exhibit.

Public Transit
From the Albany-Rensselaer Train Station, take the CDTA bus #1 towards 'North Albany' or 'Westgate' from the bus stop located outside the station. Ride the bus for around 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Madison Ave and South Pearl St. From there, walk east on Madison Avenue for about 0.2 miles (approximately 5 minutes), and you will reach 222 Madison Ave, where Beneath the City is located on your right.
