Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from your location in the Adirondack Mountains. Follow the signs towards NY-87 S, which is the closest major highway. Depending on where you are, you may need to navigate local roads to reach NY-87 S. Once on NY-87 S, continue for approximately 25-30 miles until you reach Exit 23 for NY-9W toward Albany. After exiting, follow NY-9W for about 10 miles to merge onto I-787 N toward Albany. Continue on I-787 N for about 3 miles, then take Exit 4 toward US-20 W. Merge onto US-20 W and follow it for another 2 miles until you reach Albany. The Adirondack Wilderness exhibit is located at 222 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12210. Look for parking options nearby as you approach the address.
