Walking
If you are starting from the Albany Train Station, exit the station and head east on Broadway toward the intersection with South Pearl Street. Turn left onto South Pearl Street and walk north until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn right onto State Street and continue walking east. You will eventually see the Empire State Plaza complex on your left. The address is 100 S Mall Arterial, Albany, NY 12242.

Public Transit - Bus
From the Albany Bus Terminal, take the CDTA bus #22 towards 'Albany - South Mall.' Board the bus and stay on until you reach the 'Empire State Plaza' stop. The plaza is directly adjacent to the stop, and you will see the iconic buildings as you disembark.

Walking
If you are starting from the New York State Capitol building, exit the Capitol and walk south on State Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of State Street and the Mall Arterial. Turn left onto the Mall Arterial, and the Empire State Plaza will be in front of you shortly. This is a pleasant walk, taking approximately 10-15 minutes.

From the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the CDTA bus #10 towards 'Albany - South Mall.' Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Empire State Plaza' stop. The plaza will be right next to the bus stop.

If you're near the Albany Institute of History & Art, head south on Washington Avenue until you reach the intersection with South Mall Arterial. Turn right, and within a few minutes of walking, you will arrive at Empire State Plaza, which will be on your left.
