Car
If you are driving from New York City, take I-87 N (the New York State Thruway) from Manhattan. Continue on I-87 N for about 30 miles. Take exit 8 for NY-117 toward Tarrytown/Peekskill. Merge onto NY-117 N and follow the signs for Pleasantville. After approximately 7 miles, turn left onto Phelps Way. The entrance to Rockefeller State Park Preserve will be on your left. Parking is available at the preserve, and there is no entrance fee.

For public transportation, take the Metro-North Railroad from Grand Central Terminal to Pleasantville Station. Check the Metro-North schedule for departure times. Alternatively, you can walk, which will take approximately 40 minutes, by heading north on Washington Avenue, then turning left onto Phelps Way.
