Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from New York City, take I-87 N (the New York State Thruway) from Manhattan. Continue on I-87 N for about 30 miles. Take exit 8 for NY-117 toward Tarrytown/Peekskill. Merge onto NY-117 N and follow the signs for Pleasantville. After approximately 7 miles, turn left onto Phelps Way. The entrance to Rockefeller State Park Preserve will be on your left. Parking is available at the preserve, and there is no entrance fee.

• Metro-North Railroad

  For public transportation, take the Metro-North Railroad from Grand Central Terminal to Pleasantville Station. Check the Metro-North schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at Pleasantville Station, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Rockefeller State Park Preserve, which is about 2.5 miles away. Alternatively, you can walk, which will take approximately 40 minutes, by heading north on Washington Avenue, then turning left onto Phelps Way.

• Bus

  Take the Bee-Line Bus #2 from the White Plains Bus Terminal (which is accessible via subway or Metro-North from New York City) towards Pleasantville. Get off at the stop closest to Rockefeller State Park Preserve. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 mile to the entrance at 125 Phelps Way. Be sure to check the bus schedules for the latest arrival and departure times.
