If you are driving, head towards Cherry Valley, NY. From New York City, take I-87 N (the New York State Thruway) and merge onto I-88 W towards Schenectady. Follow I-88 W for approximately 90 miles. Take exit 25 for NY-166 towards Cherry Valley. Continue on NY-166 for about 5 miles, then turn right onto US-20. The Tepee will be on your right at 7632 US-20. Make sure to check for any tolls along I-87.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For public transportation, take a Greyhound or Trailways bus from New York City to Cooperstown. The bus ride takes approximately 4 hours. From the Cooperstown bus station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to The Tepee, which is about 20 miles away. Expect to pay around $40-$60 for the taxi service. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently.
Public Transportation (Train + Taxi)
You can also take a train from New York City to the nearest Amtrak station in Albany-Rensselaer. From Penn Station, board the Amtrak Empire Service towards Niagara Falls. After about 2.5 hours, arrive at Albany-Rensselaer station. From there, take a taxi or rideshare to The Tepee in Cherry Valley, which is about 45 miles away. Expect to pay around $100-$120 for the taxi. Again, ensure to check the train schedule before your trip.
