Car
If you are driving from New York City, take the George Washington Bridge and merge onto I-87 N. Continue on I-87 N for about 45 miles and take exit 11 for NY-9D toward Cold Spring. Follow NY-9D for about 2 miles until you reach Cold Spring. Then, turn left onto Kemble Avenue. The West Point Foundry Preserve will be on your left at 80 Kemble Ave, Cold Spring, NY 10516. Parking is available nearby.

For public transportation, take the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Board a train heading to Poughkeepsie and get off at Cold Spring station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the Cold Spring train station, exit onto Main Street and walk towards Kemble Avenue. It’s a 15-20 minute walk (about 0.7 miles) to West Point Foundry Preserve. Alternatively, you can catch a local taxi or rideshare for about $5-10 to reach the preserve.
