Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Buffalo, head to the nearest bus stop for the NFTA Metro Bus. Take the 20 or 21 bus towards Niagara Falls. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the right timing. Once on the bus, stay on for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the stop at Depot Avenue. Get off the bus and walk about 5 minutes towards 825 Depot Ave W. The Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center will be on your right.

The driver will pick you up from your current location and take you directly to the heritage center. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Buffalo. Start your ride heading towards the Niagara River and follow the scenic bike paths. The ride is approximately 15 miles and should take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the signs leading you towards Niagara Falls and keep an eye out for Depot Avenue. Once you reach Depot Avenue, the heritage center will be located at 825 Depot Ave W.
