If you're traveling by car, start on the NY-299 E road from any point in Hudson Valley. Follow NY-299 E until you reach the exit for US-9 N. Continue on US-9 N for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit onto NY-44 W toward Poughkeepsie. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Parker Ave. The entrance to Walkway Over the Hudson will be on your left at 61 Parker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Parking is available nearby, and be prepared for a small fee if required.

If you prefer public transportation, take the Metro-North Railroad from any station in the Hudson Valley. The most convenient line to use is the Hudson Line, heading towards Poughkeepsie. Once you arrive at the Poughkeepsie Station, exit the station and walk south on Main St for about 0.6 miles (approximately 12 minutes). Then, turn left onto Parker Ave, where you will find the entrance to Walkway Over the Hudson at 61 Parker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
