Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Hudson Amtrak Station located at 71 North 4th Street. Exit the station and head east on 4th Street towards the Hudson River. Once you reach the river, turn left on the waterfront walkway (Riverside Park). Continue walking along the walkway, enjoying the views of the river. After about a half-mile, you will arrive at the Hudson Athens Lighthouse, which is located in the middle of the river. Please note that the lighthouse is not accessible by foot, but you can enjoy the view from the shore and take pictures.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Hudson Amtrak Station. Head east on 4th Street and turn left onto the waterfront path. Continue cycling along the Hudson River waterfront for approximately 1 mile until you reach the lighthouse area. The ride is scenic, and you can stop at various points along the river for photos. You will not be able to reach the lighthouse directly, but you can enjoy the views from the shore.

• Public Transport (Ferry)

  From downtown Hudson, walk to the Hudson River waterfront where you can catch a ferry to Athens. This is a seasonal service, so check the schedule in advance. The ferry will take you across the river to Athens, providing great views of the lighthouse. Once you arrive in Athens, you can see the lighthouse from the shore. This is a great option if you want to get closer views of the lighthouse while enjoying a boat ride.
