Bus
From downtown Ithaca, walk to the TCAT bus terminal located at 737 Willow Avenue. Catch the Route 20 bus towards Watkins Glen. Make sure to check the schedule for departure times, as they may vary. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and disembark at the stop for NY-14 near Rock Stream. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Magnus Ridge Winery located at 6148 NY-14. Head south on NY-14, and the winery will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Ithaca. Start your journey on the Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway (Route 89) heading south. Follow the signs for NY-14 and after approximately 12 miles, you will reach Magnus Ridge Winery on your right at 6148 NY-14. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.
Walking
For adventurous souls, you can walk from downtown Ithaca to Magnus Ridge Winery, which is approximately 13 miles away. Start at the Ithaca Commons, heading south on Tioga Street towards Route 79. Continue to follow Route 79 until you reach the intersection with NY-14. Turn left onto NY-14 and follow it for about 8 miles. The winery will be on your left at 6148 NY-14. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this is a lengthy walk.
