Car
If you're driving to Belvedere Castle from anywhere in the Leatherstocking Region, take I-88 East towards Albany. Merge onto I-90 East and then take the exit for I-87 South towards New York City. Continue on I-87 South, which eventually becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway. Take the exit for 79th Street and turn left onto 79th Street. Follow the street until you reach Central Park. Belvedere Castle is located within Central Park, near the middle of the park. There is limited street parking around the park, and it may incur costs. Alternatively, consider using a parking garage nearby.

Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, start by taking a bus or train to New York City. If you're coming from a nearby town, you can take a regional bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, take the subway: catch the C train at 42nd Street Port Authority and ride it to 59th Street - Columbus Circle. Transfer to the A or B train and ride to the 72nd Street station. Once out of the station, walk east towards Central Park. Belvedere Castle is located towards the center of the park. Be sure to check the MTA website for current fare prices and schedules.
