Car
If you're traveling by car, you can use a GPS or a mapping application to navigate to Marshlands Conservancy. Simply enter the address: 220 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580. From the Leatherstocking Region, take NY-28 E or I-88 E towards I-87 S. Merge onto I-87 S and continue until you reach exit 21 for NY-120 S towards Rye. Follow NY-120 S and then turn onto Boston Post Rd. Marshlands Conservancy will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus or train to Rye. If you are near a train station, take the Metro-North Railroad towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Rye station. From there, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Marshlands Conservancy, which is about a 10-minute drive (approximately 2.5 miles). If you prefer, you can also check local bus routes that may connect to Boston Post Rd.
Walking from Rye Station
If you decide to walk from the Rye train station to Marshlands Conservancy, head southwest on W Main St towards Boston Post Rd. Turn left onto Boston Post Rd, and continue for about 2.5 miles. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes, so plan accordingly. Be mindful of traffic and ensure you have comfortable walking shoes.
