Getting There

Car
From the center of Leatherstocking Region, head south on NY-28 S. Continue for approximately 18 miles until you reach the town of Cooperstown. At the intersection with Main St, take a right. Continue on Main St for about 0.5 miles until you see the sign for NY-80 E. Merge onto NY-80 E and follow for approximately 13 miles. You will then reach the intersection with Weaver St in Larchmont. Turn left onto Weaver St. Continue for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Sheldrake Environmental Center at 685 Weaver St on your right.

From Leatherstocking Region, take the local bus service to the nearest train station. If you are in Cooperstown, take the Otsego Area Transit (OAT) bus to the Oneonta Train Station. From Oneonta, board an Amtrak train heading towards New York City. Get off at the Larchmont station. From Larchmont station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to Sheldrake Environmental Center. It is approximately a 5-minute drive from the station.
