From the Montauk train station, take the Suffolk County Transit Bus (Route 10) towards East Hampton. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Old Montauk Highway. This trip will take approximately 15 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to Montauk Point State Park. Head southeast on Old Montauk Highway, and follow the signs leading to the park entrance.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Montauk. Start from the village center and head southeast on Montauk Highway (NY-27). Continue on the highway for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Old Montauk Highway. Turn right onto Old Montauk Highway and follow the road until you see the park entrance. The bike ride will take roughly 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Montauk village center. Head east on Main Street until you reach Montauk Highway (NY-27). Turn left onto Montauk Highway and walk for about 3 miles. Once you reach the intersection with Old Montauk Highway, turn right and continue walking until you see the park entrance. This walk will take approximately 1 hour and is a scenic route with beautiful views along the way.
