To get to the Whitestone Bridge, start by finding the nearest subway station. Depending on your current location, you may take the 7 train to the Flushing Main Street station. From there, transfer to the Q44 bus. Board the bus heading towards Jamaica, and get off at the intersection of 1st Avenue and 20th Avenue. From this bus stop, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Whitestone Bridge. Head north on 1st Avenue, then turn right on 20th Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the bridge.

If you prefer to travel by bus, locate a bus stop for the Q44 or Q20 bus lines. The Q44 runs from Jamaica to Flushing and stops near the Whitestone Bridge. Board the bus at any of its stops, and stay on until you reach the stop closest to the bridge, which is usually at 14th Avenue and 5th Street. From there, it's a short walk to the bridge. Just head east on 14th Avenue and follow the signs to the bridge entrance.
