From downtown Ithaca, head to the Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) bus terminal located at 737 Willow Avenue. Take the TCAT Route 32 bus towards the Cornell University Campus. The bus will take you along a scenic route. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the 'Sapsucker Woods' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk about 0.3 miles northeast along Sapsucker Woods Road to arrive at Sapsucker Woods.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Ithaca. Head west on State Street and take a left onto Cascadilla Street, then merge onto the Cayuga Waterfront Trail. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with Sapsucker Woods Road. Turn left onto Sapsucker Woods Road and follow it for about 1 mile until you reach Sapsucker Woods, located at 159 Sapsucker Woods Rd.

Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Cascadilla Street. Turn left and follow Cascadilla Street until it intersects with the Cayuga Waterfront Trail. Turn left onto the trail and walk for about 1.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with Sapsucker Woods Road, turn right and walk about 0.5 miles to Sapsucker Woods, located at 159 Sapsucker Woods Rd.
