Train
From White Plains Metro-North Station, take the Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes approximately 33 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and head towards 42nd Street. You can either take a subway from Grand Central (7 train towards Flushing) to 34th Street-Hudson Yards and switch to the A or C train towards Inwood-207th Street. Get off at 125th Street Station in Harlem. Alternatively, after exiting Grand Central, you can walk to Bryant Park and catch the B or D subway line at 42nd Street-Bryant Park Station towards 125th Street.
Bus
From White Plains, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Westchester County Bee-Line Bus System. Take the BxM3 bus, which goes directly to Manhattan. The ride takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Get off at the stop on 125th Street in Harlem. From there, you can explore the area on foot.
Subway
If you prefer taking the subway, you can first take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest subway station, which could be the 241st Street station. Take the 1 train towards South Ferry and transfer at 42nd Street-Times Square to the A or C line towards 125th Street. Get off at the 125th Street Station in Harlem. This route is less direct but offers a scenic view of the city.
