    Start at the Hoboken Terminal. Head towards the waterfront and look for the NY Waterway ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket to Manhattan (the ferry to 39th Street is a good option). The ferry ride takes about 8 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline. Once you arrive at the terminal in Manhattan, follow the signs to exit towards the streets.

    From Hoboken Terminal, take the PATH train on the 'Journal Square' or 'World Trade Center' line. You’ll want to get off at the 33rd Street station in Manhattan. After exiting the train, head towards 6th Avenue and catch the subway 'C' train uptown bound towards 125th Street. Get off at the 125th Street station. Once you exit the station, walk west on 125th Street for about 5 minutes, and the Apollo Theater will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From Hoboken, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop (check for the bus stop on Washington Street). Take the NJ Transit bus #126, which heads towards New York City. The bus will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the subway and take the 'A' or 'C' train uptown to 125th Street. Exit the station and walk west for about 5 minutes to reach the Apollo Theater.
