Train
From White Plains, head to the White Plains Train Station located at 1 Railroad Avenue. Take the Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the main concourse and exit the station onto 42nd Street.
Bus
You can take the Bee-Line Bus #60 from the White Plains Bus Terminal to the New York City Subway at 242nd Street. From there, transfer to the 1 Subway Line at the 242nd Street station heading south towards South Ferry. Get off at the 34th Street - Penn Station stop and then transfer to the 2 or 3 Subway Line heading towards Wall Street. Finally, get off at the Times Square-42nd Street station. From there, you can walk to various attractions in Manhattan.
Walking
If you're already in the downtown area of White Plains, head to Main Street and walk towards the White Plains Train Station. Once at the station, you can catch a train as previously mentioned. However, if you prefer to explore nearby areas, walk along Main Street to visit local shops and cafes before heading to the train.
