Walking
From the White Plains Metro-North train station, exit the station and head south on E Main St toward S Broadway. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S Broadway. Turn left onto S Broadway. Walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the White Plains Bus Terminal. From there, take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan (this is a direct route). After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at the bus stop at E 71st St and 5th Ave, which is near the entrance to Rumsey Playfield. Walk east on E 71st St for a short distance, and you will see Rumsey Playfield on your left, located in Central Park.

Public Transit
Begin at the White Plains Metro-North train station. Purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Take the Harlem Line train towards Grand Central. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and head to the subway station located underneath. Take the 6 train (green line) at Grand Central, heading towards Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. Get off at 68th St-Hunter College station. From there, walk east on E 68th St until you reach 5th Ave, then turn left and walk north for a block to E 71st St. Turn right on E 71st St, and you will find Rumsey Playfield on your left in Central Park.
