Public Transit
To get to Seaside Beach in Bridgeport, CT from White Plains, first head to the White Plains Metro-North train station located at 1 Railroad Ave. You can take the train on the New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Make sure to check the schedule for train times. Ride the train for about 30 minutes and get off at the Bridgeport station. Once you arrive at Bridgeport station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop located at the corner of Main St and Water St. Take the Greater Bridgeport Transit (GBT) bus route 10 towards the South End. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Look for the Seaside Park stop and get off there. From the bus stop, walk towards Seaside Beach, which is just a short 5-minute walk away.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Bridgeport train station to Seaside Beach, exit the station and head south on Main St. Continue walking straight for about 1 mile. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Once you reach the intersection with Seaview Ave, turn right and continue walking until you reach the entrance of Seaside Park. The beach is located within the park, and you can follow the signs to reach the beach area directly.
Biking
If you enjoy biking, you can rent a bike in White Plains and take the Metro-North train to Bridgeport as mentioned earlier. Once at the Bridgeport train station, simply bike south on Main St towards Seaside Beach. It’s about a 1-mile ride, which should take approximately 10-15 minutes. There are bike racks available at the park where you can securely lock your bike while you enjoy the beach.
