Take the 'C' train towards 'World Trade Center' and ride for 6 stops until you reach the '8th Avenue Station'. Transfer to the 'L' train towards 'Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway' and get off at '1st Avenue Station'. From the station, walk east on 1st Avenue for about 10 minutes to reach Alphabet City.
