Subway
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central. Get off at the 125th Street station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the 125th Street subway station and take the A or C train downtown. Get off at the 59th Street - Columbus Circle station. From there, exit the station and walk east along 59th Street towards Central Park. Enter Central Park at the entrance near 5th Avenue and walk northeast towards Museum Mile. The Ancient Playground will be located on the east side of Central Park, near the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Bus
From Yonkers, locate the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus Service. Take the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. Get off at the bus stop on 5th Avenue and 86th Street. From there, walk south along 5th Avenue until you reach the entrance to Central Park. Enter the park and head towards the east side, where the Ancient Playground is situated near the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

If you are near the downtown area of Yonkers, you can take a scenic walk to the Hudson River waterfront. Walk towards the river along Warburton Avenue. Once you reach the waterfront, take the path leading south towards the Yonkers Pier. From there, you can follow the riverwalk trail that leads to the Metro-North train station. Once at the station, take the train as described in the subway guidance to reach Museum Mile.
