Bus
From Yonkers, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards White Plains. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Riverdale Avenue and Main Street. Here, transfer to the Metro-North Railroad at the Yonkers station. Board a train on the Hudson Line to Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 4 or 5 train downtown to Borough Hall. Exit the subway and walk towards Court Street, then head to Pierrepont Street. The Center for Brooklyn History is located at 128 Pierrepont St, just a short walk from the subway exit.

From Yonkers, walk to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Purchase a ticket to Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. Board a train on the Hudson Line. After approximately 30 minutes, change trains at Grand Central Terminal to catch the 4 or 5 subway train towards Brooklyn. Get off at Borough Hall. Once you exit the station, walk towards Court Street and continue until you reach Pierrepont Street. The Center for Brooklyn History will be on your left at 128 Pierrepont St.
