From Yonkers, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards White Plains. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Riverdale Avenue and Main Street. Here, transfer to the Metro-North Railroad at the Yonkers station. Board a train on the Hudson Line to Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 4 or 5 train downtown to Borough Hall. Exit the subway and walk towards Court Street, then head to Pierrepont Street. The Center for Brooklyn History is located at 128 Pierrepont St, just a short walk from the subway exit.
