Getting There

• Bus

  From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Transit Center located at 1-9 Main St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at East 72nd St + Center Drive. Once you get off, walk east towards Central Park Boathouse, which should be directly ahead of you.

• Train

  Make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North Railroad station at 1 Alexander St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Harlem-125th Street station. From there, transfer to the Metro-North Harlem Line and take a train towards New York-Penn Station. Get off at the 86th Street station. From the station, head east towards Central Park. Walk south on Central Park West and enter the park. The Central Park Boathouse will be located on your right along the water.

• Walking

  If you are already in Yonkers, you can take a scenic walk towards the waterfront area. Start at the Yonkers Pier at 1-9 Main St, Yonkers, NY 10701, and follow the river south along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking down to the Hudson River Park, and keep heading south until you reach the GW Bridge. This is a longer route, approximately 2.5 miles, but it offers great views of the river and city skyline.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more comfortable option, you can call a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Simply input 'Central Park Boathouse, East 72nd St + Center Drive, New York, NY 10021' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the boathouse, and the ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
