Subway
To reach Harlem River Drive Greenway from Yonkers, start by heading to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street subway station. Take the downtown 1 train towards South Ferry. Get off at 137th Street-City College station. From there, walk west on 137th Street until you reach Amsterdam Avenue. Turn right and walk north until you reach the intersection with Harlem River Drive. The entrance to the Greenway will be on your left.

Bus
From Yonkers, you can catch the Bee-Line bus #1 from the Yonkers Bus Terminal. This bus goes directly to the George Washington Bridge Terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, transfer to the MTA bus M4 heading towards 125th Street. Get off at the stop at 138th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Walk east on 138th Street, then turn left on Harlem River Drive. The entrance to the Harlem River Drive Greenway will be ahead on your left.

Walking
If you're already in Yonkers and nearby, you can walk towards the Hudson River. Head south on Warburton Avenue until you reach Main Street. Turn right on Main Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Riverdale Avenue. Cross over to the other side and follow Riverdale Avenue south until you reach 138th Street. Turn right and walk towards Harlem River Drive. The Greenway entrance will be on your left.
