Metro
From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North station. Board a southbound train towards Grand Central Terminal. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and follow signs for the S (Shuttle) train towards Times Square-42nd Street. Get off at the next stop, Times Square-42nd Street. From there, transfer to the 1 subway line (red line) at 42nd Street-Times Square station. Take the 1 train downtown towards South Ferry and get off at the 18th Street station. Exit the station and walk west on 18th Street until you reach 11th Avenue. Turn left on 11th Avenue and walk south for about 5 minutes until you reach Pier 57 at 25 11th Ave.
Bus
From Yonkers, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Bee-Line Bus 1 or 2 towards the Bronx. Get off at the stop at 138th Street and 3rd Avenue. From there, transfer to the Metro-North train at the nearby station and take the train southbound towards Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the same directions as above to get to Pier 57. Alternatively, you can take the MTA bus to the nearest subway station if it’s more convenient, then follow the subway directions provided.
Walking
If you are close enough to the waterfront, you can walk along the Hudson River via the scenic waterfront path. Start at the Yonkers Pier and head south along the path. Follow the river until you reach the Manhattan area. This option may take longer, so it’s best for those who enjoy a leisurely walk with views of the river.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike rental service in Yonkers. You can bike along the Hudson River Greenway, enjoying the waterfront views as you ride toward Manhattan. Continue south until you reach 11th Avenue. Make sure to follow bike lanes and park regulations as you approach Pier 57.
