From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 1-3 Main Street. Purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Board the train on the Hudson Line and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and follow signs for the 4, 5, or 6 subway lines. Take the 4 or 5 train towards Brooklyn, and get off at 86th Street station. From the station, walk east to 5th Avenue, then head south for approximately 5 blocks until you reach the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum at 1071 5th Ave.

Head to the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus service. You can catch the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan from the Yonkers Transit Center.
