Getting There

  • Subway

    If you're starting from Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Stay on the train for about 25 minutes. Get off at the 42nd Street/Grand Central Station. From there, transfer to the S (Shuttle) train towards Times Square. Get off at the Times Square station. Walk to the 42nd Street and 8th Avenue corner to find the A, C, or E lines. Take the A or C train downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at the 34th Street/Penn Station. From there, walk west along 34th Street for about 10 minutes until you reach 545 W 30th St, where The Shed is located.

  • Bus

    From any location in Yonkers, make your way to the nearest bus stop and take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Glenwood Avenue & Central Park Avenue stop. Transfer to the Metro-North train at the Yonkers station and take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 25 minutes, get off at Grand Central Terminal. From there, follow the subway directions above or take a taxi for the remaining distance.

  • Walking

    If you're in central Yonkers, you can walk to the Yonkers Metro-North station, which is about 15-20 minutes from downtown. Once at the station, take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After arriving at Grand Central Terminal, follow the subway directions above or walk. If you prefer walking, it's about a 30-minute walk from Grand Central Terminal to The Shed. Head west on 42nd Street, then turn left on 8th Avenue, and finally left on 30th Street to reach your destination.
