Getting There

  • Bus

    From Auckland Central, walk to the nearest bus stop on Victoria Street West. Catch the bus number 27 (Mount Eden) or bus number 1 (Mount Eden - West) towards Mount Eden. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Mount Eden Road / Bellwood Ave' stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes up Mount Eden Road, and you will reach Maungawhau / Mount Eden at 250 Mount Eden Road.

  • Train

    Head to the nearest train station, Britomart Transport Centre, located in downtown Auckland. Take the Southern or Eastern Line train towards Papakura or Manukau. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Mount Eden' train station. Exit the station and walk about 15 minutes up the hill on Mt Eden Road to reach Maungawhau / Mount Eden at 250 Mount Eden Road.

    If you are in the central Auckland area, you can walk to Maungawhau / Mount Eden. Head south on Queen Street until you reach the intersection with Victoria Street. Turn left onto Victoria Street, then continue straight until you reach Mount Eden Road.
