Walk north on Queen Street, passing shops and cafes on either side. Aotea Square will be on your left, located at 291-297 Queen Street. Look for the large open plaza area, which is a popular gathering spot.

For those further away in the CBD, you can catch a bus to Aotea Square. Locate the nearest bus stop and check the schedule for buses heading towards the 'Auckland City' direction. Buses that stop at Aotea Square include the 10, 11, and 12 routes. The fare is approximately NZD 2.50 to NZD 4.50 depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at the Aotea Square bus stop, you will see the square immediately as you exit the bus.

If you are near a train station, take a train to Britomart Station, which is the main transport hub in Auckland. From Britomart, exit the station and walk towards Queen Street. Head up Queen Street for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Aotea Square on your left. The train fare varies based on the distance but typically ranges from NZD 3.00 to NZD 6.00.
