You can take the bus number 18 or 20 that goes to 'Morningside' or 'Western Springs'. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Great North Road' stop, which is near MOTAT.

From Auckland's Britomart Transport Centre, take the Western Line train towards 'Swanson'. Alight at 'Morningside' station. Once you exit the station, walk east for about 15 minutes along Morningside Drive and then turn right onto Great North Road. Continue walking for a few minutes until you reach MOTAT at 805 Great North Road.

If you are already in the Western Springs area, you can walk to MOTAT. From the Western Springs Park, head towards Great North Road. Walk north along Great North Road for about 10 minutes. MOTAT will be on your left at 805 Great North Road.
