Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in the Auckland CBD, you can easily walk to Downtown Auckland. Start by heading towards Customs Street East. Once you reach Customs Street East, walk towards the east until you reach 8/12 Customs Street East. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes. Enjoy the sights of the CBD as you stroll along the street.

• Public Transport - Bus

  For those who prefer public transport, you can catch a bus to Downtown Auckland. Locate the nearest bus stop in the CBD; popular stops include Victoria Street or Albert Street. Check for buses heading towards 'Customs Street' or 'Downtown Auckland'. Buses in Auckland are generally reliable, and the fare is around NZD 3.50 to NZD 5.00 depending on the distance. Upon arriving at the stop closest to 8/12 Customs Street East, just walk a short distance to reach your destination.

• Public Transport - Train

  If you're near a train station, you can take the train to Downtown Auckland. The nearest station is Britomart Transport Centre, which is a major hub in the CBD. From there, take any train on the Eastern, Southern, or Western lines. The train fare is approximately NZD 3.50 to NZD 5.00. After arriving at Britomart, exit the station and walk east towards Customs Street. The journey from the station to Downtown should take no more than 5 minutes.

  If you prefer a more direct approach, using a taxi or rideshare service like Uber is convenient. Simply hail a taxi or request an Uber via the app from wherever you are in the CBD.
