Public Bus
If you are starting from the Auckland Central Business District (CBD), walk to the nearest bus stop on Victoria Street West and catch the bus number 66 towards Epsom. The bus will take you directly to Epsom. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop on Gillies Avenue, which is just a short walk from Highwic. From the bus stop, walk south on Gillies Avenue for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Highwic, located at 40 Gillies Avenue.

From Auckland CBD, walk to Britomart Train Station and take the Southern Line train towards Papakura. Alight at the Greenlane Station after about 10 minutes. From Greenlane Station, you can either walk for approximately 15 minutes by heading west on Greenlane East, then turning left onto Gillies Avenue, or you can catch a bus (bus number 66) from the station towards Epsom and get off at Gillies Avenue. Highwic will be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are nearby, you can walk to Highwic directly. For example, if you are in the Epsom area, head towards Gillies Avenue and walk south until you reach Highwic at 40 Gillies Avenue. Look for the heritage building on your left; it is well marked and has beautiful gardens.
