From the center of Mission Bay (start at the Mission Bay beach area), head east along Tamaki Drive. Continue walking along the waterfront for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with St Heliers Bay Road. This route offers beautiful views of the Waitemata Harbour. Once you reach St Heliers Bay Road, turn left and continue walking until you see the signs for Achilles Point. Follow the signs, and you will find the entrance to the scenic lookout.

If you prefer to use public transport, catch the Bus route 758 from the Mission Bay bus stop, heading towards St Heliers. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the St Heliers Bay Road stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Achilles Point. Head east on St Heliers Bay Road and follow the signs for Achilles Point, which will lead you to the lookout.
