Look for a bus stop along the way if you need a break. As you approach the intersection with Hardings Road, follow the signs directing you to the Wairau Lagoons Walkway. The walkway entrance is near 154 Hardings Road, Riverlands.

If you're cycling, begin at the Blenheim Information Centre on Hawthorne Street. Cycle south along the Taylor River Trail, which will take you past the scenic river views. After approximately 4 km, turn right onto Rapaura Road and continue for another 3 km. When you reach the intersection with Hardings Road, turn left. The Wairau Lagoons Walkway entrance will be on your left at 154 Hardings Road. The ride should take about 25-30 minutes.
